Harry Fisch, M.D.

an Associate of American Fertility Services, P.C., is an accomplished urologist holding the titles of Associate Clinical Professor of Urology, Columbia University, College of Physicians & Surgeons, New York, NY and Visiting Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, NY. For over eighteen years, Dr. Fisch has focused his research, practice, and surgery on male infertility and reproduction. He has published numerous articles on the diagnosis and treatment of male infertility and lectures around the world on the subject.

Dr. Fisch received his medical degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine, urologic training at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York, and specialized training in male infertility and microsurgery at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He is an American Board of Urology Diplomat and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

In addition to his private practice on Park Avenue in Manhattan, Dr. Fisch is Director of the Male Reproductive Center, Department of Urology at Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons, New York. He is also Director of Male Infertility, Division of Reproductive Endocrinology, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Montefiore Medical Center, New York. Over the years, he has successfully treated many men for vasectomy reversal surgery.

As one of the first urologists to bring the technique of testicular biopsy for sperm aspiration to New York City, Dr. Fisch has successfully given countless men an opportunity to become fathers. Testicular biopsy is often performed in place of vasectomy reversal or for men with no sperm in their ejaculate (azoospermia). This technique is used in assisted reproductive technology, such as in vitro fertilization (IVF) and intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI). Dr. Fisch is an active member in the American Medical Association (AMA), American College of Surgeons (ACS), American Urologic Association (AUA), American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), New York Academy of Sciences, Society for the Study of Reproduction, Society for the Study of Male Reproduction (SSR), New York Society of Reproductive Medicine, American Association of Clinical Urologists, New York Section-American Urologic Association, New York State Urologic Association, New York County Medical Society and Resolve.
