If you are concerned about difficulties you have had in conceiving, now is the time to seek help from a medical professional. If a couple has been trying to conceive for more than a year, or if the woman is over 35 or if either partner has a history of disorders of the reproductive system, they are much better off asking their doctor for a fertility workup and possible referral to a reproductive endocrinologist sooner rather than later.
